The World Aquatic Babies Congress 2007 will be
held from the 6-8th October 2007 in Wellington,
New Zealand
Preferential Registrations
This is the first of what will be regular email
communications about the WABC 2007. All
recipients of this email are encouraged to
forward this to their network. Most importantly,
all those intending to attend the WABC 2007 are
urged to email
wabc2007@watersafety.org.nz to secure a
place on the Preferential Registration List.
Those that have pre registered will be offered
the opportunity to confirm and pay prior to full
registrations opening on 1 April 2007.
Presenter Expression of Interest
Water Safety New Zealand (WSNZ) is calling for
expressions of interest from people interested
in presenting at the World Aquatic Babies
Congress 2007.
The conference is targeted at Presenters,
Aquatic Co-ordinators, Aquatic Professionals,
Teachers/Instructors of Infant, Toddler and
Preschool Aquatics/Water Safety and Infant,
Early Childhood Practitioners around New Zealand
and internationally. A range of sessions will be
on offer including keynote and workshop based
sessions.
WSNZ is the organisation responsible for the
advocacy, promotion and coordination of water
safety education in New Zealand. WSNZ wishes to
ensure the world’s leading, emerging and
creative theories, programmes and initiatives
are showcased in Wellington at WABC 2007.

Theme
A conference theme has been developed for WABC
2007 - He Oranga tō
te Wai - Water is Life. This means that water in
all its shapes and forms has the potential to
give life or healthy qualities.

WABC 2007 will be held at Te Papa, The Museum of
